SULLIVAN – Get a dollar, lose a dollar. As Bourbon will be gaining a Dollar General, Sullivan will be losing its One Dollar Shop at the end of the week. SULLIVAN – Enforcing sex offender statutes may not be as easy as it sounds. However, prosecutors say they’re doing their part to keep offenders from living too close to a school or a day care center. Missouri statutes ban registered sex offenders from living within 1,000 feet of any public school or childcare facility, but that doesn’t mean they always follow those rules.
